About Our Business
BC Original Graphics began "on the bricks" in downtown McCook, Nebraska in 2004. The business was bought from Clint and Ruth Bridges,
and it went under the name "C&R Graphic Images". The original concept of the business was working with images and the use of sublimation.
In fact, the business was bought because of a coffee mug that we had made there.
As the business changed ownership on March 1st, 2004, the name was changed to "BC Original Graphics". The idea was to continue the same
type of image work, and expand into other areas. This came true when we brought in our vinyl lettering part of the business. From there we
added not only lettering and the making of small vinyl window decals, but also larger items like banners. The direction of the business continued
to grow.
It was in 2005, that we began doing event work. We bought an enclosed trailer and began to transform into our business on wheels. This idea
was created by some friends that had gone to a car show and liked what someone else was doing. They gave us our first event, where we
created unique trophies of t-shirts with the actual picture of the pulling tractor on it. It gave us a start that would give us our biggest chance in
design freedom. While going to car shows, we created a way to take the owners vehicle and making a unique item for our customers. That is
still what we are doing today, and we have traveled throughout southwest Nebraska to do our type of work. Each item is different and made for
each customer wants.
In late 2006, there was a need to change. Our location didn't allow us to do large objects and any vehicle lettering was done on Norris Avenue, in
front of our store. So we needed to find a new location that would allow us to expand our work. A small business magazine said that you may
lose business by just moving a few blocks, but may do much better moving to a whole new location. So, we took that advice and with the help of
the Furnas-Harlan Partnership, we found a building 40 miles east in Arapahoe, NE
In Arapahoe, we expanded our type of work by also adding video and audio transferring to DVD. This has been a need for the area and we are
glad to be able to do this. We also have room to letter vehicles inside, and that sure beats the Nebraska constant wind.
No one gave it a chance from moving from a 8,000 populated city to a place of 1,000. But we are glad to be a part of the Arapahoe business
district and hope to provide a high quality and affordable product.
BC Original Graphics is a 2006 graduating class of the Nebraska EDGE program that was held in Cambridge, NE and we are proud to promote
this course for all inspiring Nebraska businesses.
We have also participated in Red Carpet training, Dr. Don Udell's Grant Writing Workshops, and graduated from the first class of the
Furnas-Harlan Leadership Plenty (2007-2008). We Thank the University of Nebraska Extension and Furnas-Harlan Partnership for providing
these programs to aid businesses. I am also a past-Executive Director of the Nebraska U.S. Route 6 Tourist Association.
Our work has been sent in a lot of areas in the United States and to those serving throughout the world. The work that you see that comes from
us, doesn't come years of schooling. We have been blessed with talents given to us, and Thank our Lord for giving us this opportunity. We
mean this Sincerely! Thanks to those who believe in us and have spread the word on the work that we do!

Introducing our new logo,
"The Flying Bobcat
PawPrint" will now be seen
on all things beginning in
April 2009. It is a part of our
new marketing plan, that
brings us into a nostalgic
look. It also breaks up the
standard looking BC
Pawprint.

This is a common question asked by our customers,
because of our logo. Many say that it stand for the Beaver
City (NE) Bearcats, which is now a defunct high school and
mascot for their teams.
In truth, it is from a nickname of mine "Bobcat". This was
picked up at the last place that I worked. Everyone had a
nickname and my name is Bob. Put in the fact that I liked
(Bobcat Goldthwait the comedian) and you get my
nickname. Hoping not to confuse to many I add the "BC"
into a paw print for the logo effect.
The "BC" stands for "Bob Cat"
